• WHY ACTIONED GROUP
Action Ed helps health educators turn high-quality professional learning into stronger planning, more effective instruction and meaningful student learning.

Created by experienced educators, our courses combine research, real classroom practice and purposeful online learning design. You will not simply finish with more information. You will leave with something you can use.
Led by experienced educators —
Danielle, Sarah & Holly

We know educators need more than theory. They need clear models, strong examples, ready-to-use tools, and learning experiences that help them
take action with confidence.

Built by educators.
For educators.

Action Ed Group's Three Pillars

Action Ed isn't another generic training platform. We're three interconnected spaces designed by K–12 teachers who know what actually works in real classrooms—because we've been there. No fluff. No disconnect. Just practical, immediately useful professional learning that transforms how you teach.

The "School"

ActionEd Academy
Online courses that actually fit your life. Subscription-based, self-paced modules built by subject matter experts who understand the realities of your classroom. You learn what you need, when you need it—without being lectured at.
"The content is grounded in real teaching. I didn't waste time on theory I'd never use. I learned something I applied the very next week."

The Community

ActionEd Alliance
Learning doesn't happen in isolation. The Alliance is where you connect with other educators thinking deeply about the same challenges. Expert-led sessions, student advisory boards, peer collaboration—a space where your voice matters and your experience counts.
"I realised I wasn't alone in what I was struggling with. The conversations here changed how I approach my practice."

Consulting Partnership

In-Person Projects
Sometimes your school needs a different kind of support. Our consulting partnership with Lighthouse Wellness brings expert facilitators into your space to lead customised professional development designed around your team's actual needs—not a one-size-fits-all model.
"They listened to what we needed, then delivered exactly that. It felt like they were building this with us, not for us."
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Professional development
designed to improve practice — not simply deliver information.

Educator-Led Design
Every course, workshop, and training is created by educators who understand what teachers, schools, and districts actually need.
Research-Informed & Classroom-Tested
Our strategies are grounded in research and already being used in schools to strengthen instruction, assessment, and student learning.
Designed for Real Implementation
We focus on the transfer of learning — helping educators move from understanding a concept to applying it effectively in their classrooms.
Asynchronous Learning That Feels Human
Our online courses are intentionally designed to feel engaging, guided, and practical — more like a meaningful workshop than a passive slide deck.

Founder's Story

Action Ed Group didn't come from a boardroom. It came from a classroom — and the frustration of watching great educators sit through professional development that had nothing to do with their reality.
Danielle Petrucci has spent her career at the intersection of health, physical education, and the science of how people learn. She knows what it takes to teach, lead, and grow in today's schools — because she's done it.

Too often, educators are asked to invest their time in training that feels disconnected from the students in front of them. Generic content. Theoretical frameworks with no practical landing point. Another afternoon that could have been an email.

Action Ed Group was built to change that.

Every course, every session, and every resource on this platform has been designed by educators who understand the realities of the K–12 classroom. Practical. Immediately applicable. Built for the way teachers actually work.

Because when educators grow, students thrive — and that's the only metric that matters.
  • Mission

Professional development should make you a better teacher — not just a more qualified one. Action Ed Group exists to close the gap between theory and the classroom, delivering expert-led learning that's practical, meaningful, and ready to use from day one.
  • Vision

A future where every K–12 educator has access to professional learning that genuinely moves the needle — sparking growth, building confidence, and creating lasting impact for students and communities.
